Today’s topic, as well as tomorrow’s will be ones that are more personal than some of the others have been. Today’s topic is about a time that Demeter helped me. Although it has been indirect, I would say that getting into the apartment building I currently live in has been in part due to Demeter’s influence. The reason I say this is that the first spring after I moved in we began having a Community Garden that residents could participate in and I was able to get a section in it that I still use to the present. My plants have not always been successful, but the gardening is the important part for this post.
