Why Public Divination can be a form of "Ministry" in the Modern sense

In a monotheistic dominated society, often people who do divination are looked at as being “eccentric” at best and deliberate frauds at worst. This is because of the proscription in their holy writings against diviners.

However, in a polytheistic paradigm, diviners hold a unique place as they help people figure out what the Gods are trying to tell them. This is a form of ministry in the commonly understood sense of the word.

As polytheistic thought becomes  more known in the modern world, we are likely to face some degree of pushback. The only way that we can deal with this is to NOT back down — and to offer alternatives. Divination done for the public is one of those alternatives.
