Living in a multicultural pagan household isn’t always easy.

I posted before that “Pagan” does not always equal “Celtic-Based” and I meant it. However, my spouse and one of my “brothers in faith” (who stays with us) are both more Celtic-based than Hellenic-based. This means that when I am celebrating such things as the Panathenaia, they are celebrating Lammas. It is not something that causes confusion in MY mind, but can cause confusion for people who do not live in a similar situation.

With all the “Happy Llamas” memes on the internet, I figured that some acknowledgement of the day was appropriate — so I baked some cornbread. Later, I will be making some more cookies in honor of Athena…..
