It’s an interesting journey

For those who have been following along, you know that I have been doing a blogging series on the Delphic Maxims. I have approached this as a form of devotion to the Deathless Ones and their wisdom. Some of this wisdom is encapsulated in the very maxims I am writing about. I’m about to set forth on the third leg of this journey with some maxims that on the surface seem to be contradicting other maxims.
I personally am of the opinion that there is no contradiction within these aphorisms, just things that we need to possibly remember to apply at different times in order to maintain a balanced life. And the reason for this break has been because of remembering to keep a sense of balance and perspective. I tend to become very focused on one thing to the exclusion of others — and that is not always a good thing when you have a toddler running around the house yelling for Mommy to play with her. (I’m writing this during nap-time) So if you begin to see a more mixed bag of blogs, that is my attempt to put some more balance into my writing.
And, for those like me, who celebrate the Solstice — Have a blessed day!
